Objectives:
In this breakout session, participants will look through a trauma informed approach and lens as it relates to social and cultural considerations. We will review the key principles of trauma-informed care as it pertains to diverse populations. Participants will look at why an understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion is important when we make treatment recommendations for those in our problem-solving courts to create healing, in a treatment - oriented space.
