About me
Jonathan Yunes is an assistant public defender with Maryland Office of the public defender. Jonathan joined OPD in 2018 and has served as the designated attorney for the Wicomico County Adult Drug Treatment Court since that time. Jonathan is dedicated to advancing rehabilitative services in the criminal justice system and he serves as the defense attorney for juvenile delinquency respondents on the lower shore. Jonathan graduated law school in 2016 from the American University Washington College of Law and has been practicing since that time. Jonathan served as a judicial law clerk for the honorable David W. Densford in the Circuit Court St. Mary’s County Maryland from August 2017 to July 2018. Jonathan is a zealous advocate for his clients, has completed the practitioner training for defense attorneys through All Rise and has participated in numerous professional development and training opportunities through All Rise and the Maryland Office of Problem-Solving Courts.
